Jamie Ormiston
Jamie joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2019. He is responsible for coordinating our accreditation programmes including Scotland’s Beach Award, Green Flag Award for parks and greenspaces, Green Key for hospitality and tourism, and our National Award for Environmental Excellence, as well as our Climate Emergency and Nature & Biodiversity Training programmes.
Jamie is passionate about providing businesses and organisations with the resources, skills and support to reduce their impact on the environment no matter where they are on their net zero journey and celebrate their achievements through our accreditations.
He has a BSc (Hons) Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University and many years experience working in Education and Community Engagement at conservation charities across Scotland which has led to the integration of biodiversity across all of our service areas and the development of our Nature and Biodiversity Training.
