Heather Ashworth
Heather is one of our Campaigns and Interventions Officers, working on our Spring Clean Scotland campaign.
Heather first joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in November 2020 as a Climate Action Intern and has also led on the Community Climate Action Plan programme during her time with us. She has also previously worked as a Development Officer with the Environment and Place Team, developing our work around climate action in the sport sector in Scotland and supporting with the development and delivery of training for several sectors.
Heather is passionate about the opportunities that sport has to encourage climate action and volunteers some of her time with an organisation called Pledgeball. Pledgeball works on sustainability in sport through fan engagement, mobilising fans to work collectively to take climate action.
Heather holds an MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh.
