Carrie Marling
Carrie joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in January 2017 as Assistant Survey Officer where she carried out local environmental quality surveys in all 32 of Scotland’s local authority areas. In April 2018 Carrie became an LEQ Officer and provides environmental services and assessments for organisations in several different sectors. This includes assessing organisations for the National Award for Environmental Excellence®, auditing of housing associations and bespoke audits tailored to specific requirements.
Carrie previously worked at Kent County Council mostly on their Environmental Management System to retain ISO14001 certification and she also co-ordinated a network of environmental champions and assisted with various other environmental projects on topics such as travel, climate change adaptation and natural wellbeing.
Carrie has a degree in Environmental Science (BSc) from the University of Southampton. She is also a certified ISO14001 internal auditor.
