Charity Trustee
Susan is passionate about supporting people to make changes to improve their lives, whether that be at work where she has experience of effecting strategic change inside public and private sector organisations, or voluntarily within local community organisations.

With a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from Queen Margaret University, Susan has spent both her career and personal leisure time working on projects that ultimately build relationships and connections to achieve improvement through change.

She has spent many years teaching others in various professional and voluntary roles, encouraging those she works with to think differently to identify solutions to overcome the challenges they face – both professionally at a national strategy level in the areas of health and social services.

Over the last five years, she’s dedicated her time and expertise to improving community engagement in her local area – where she is the founder of the Bonnie Blantyre community initiative, Chairperson of the Friends of the Calder environmental group, and Vice Chair of her local Community Council.
