YRE 30th Birthday Celebrations
Did you know that like Eco-Schools, Young Reporters is 30 years old this year? For over 30 years the YRE programme has been equipping and mentoring future leaders to investigate environmental issues and drive positive, solution focused change. Started in Scotland in 2013, YRE now reaches over 500,000 young people in 44 countries worldwide.

Our 30th anniversary celebrations for Eco-Schools and Young Reporters launched at Stirling High School on 5 September. Take part in one of our challenges - exciting prizes to be won!
Create a collage of your eco activities over the years, design your own Eco-Schools tartan and see how many of our bingo activities you can complete over the year. Don't forget it's the 30th birthday for Young Reporters for the Environment too so why not take part in our photo challenge. There are prizes for all the challenges, and the winners will be announced in June 2025.
Join us for a very special One Planet Picnic celebration 9th -13th June 2025
Our Eco-Schools celebration week will take place from Monday 9 to Friday 13 June 2025. To take part in the celebrations this year, we are inviting you to host a One Planet Picnic for your school. We hope you can create a celebration that’s good for you and for the planet and get your whole community involved.
