Raising Awareness
Spread the word
Raising awareness of the issue and spreading the campaign message are an essential part of the Upstream Battle to change littering behaviour and prevent marine litter at source. We need to build a critical mass of voices saying that we want to stop litter getting into our waterways.
Help us spread the word. We have a range of media for you to share with your community and supporters on your social media accounts, in your newsletters and blogs, on your noticeboards and at your events.
Do you live or work beside a river? Get in touch with us and tell us what you think of the litter problem in your area. Are you already working to tackle litter? Do you know of a particular grotspot? Have photos you want to share? We would love to hear from you.
