Monifeith Eco Force as the name suggests is a proactive environmental group working in the coastal town of Monifieth and surrounding areas. As well as organising monthly Beach Litter Picks the group manage a 'Well Beeing' Garden, a Community Orchard and Wildflower Meadow and provide floral displays in the Town Centre during Winter/Spring and Summer/Autumn seasons. Latest venture is to create a Community Garden for growing fruit and vegetables using the disused Tennis Courts. The Group works in collaboration with other adult voluntary groups such as The Men's Shed and Rotary Club as well as working with local schools and other youth groups eg The Scouts and Guides.

Broughty Ferry Rotary started litter picking in their local area during the Covid-19 lockdown. They organised a volunteer bank of over 20 Rotary members and local people and a rota of weekly litter picks. They have cleared areas including cycle paths along the Dighty Burn and a local park. They plan to extended their activities by teaming up with others to litter pick on both sides of the foreshore at the mouth of the Dighty Burn.

The C406 Tackle Litter Group was set up in early 2020 by a group of rural residents who live along the four mile stretch of the C406 road between West Tofts (near Stanley) and Kinclaven in Perthshire. Previously, individual householders and businesses have responded to part of the chronic litter problem by picking up litter on the verges near their own homes, farms or hotel. The group was formed to take wider collective action on local litter issues through community litter picks and campaigning.

Bonnie Dundee is a volunteer led partnership working with Dundee City Council, community groups, businesses, organisations, schools and individuals who collectively aim to make Dundee a cleaner, greener and brighter city. Their activities include but are not limited to, the creation of floral displays, community growing spaces and allotments, improving biodiversity, practicing climate friendly gardening, sustainable planting and taking action to tackle litter

The Willowgate Activity Centre is an outdoor activity centre on the banks of the River Tay in Perth. In 2021 they led Pick it Up Perth River Litter Picks and provided equipment and tuition to individuals for guided litter picks on the River Tay in Perth.

Wild Shore Dundee is a water-based adventure hub located at the City Quay in the heart of Dundee. They offer activities including an Aqua Park, Wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Ringo and Open Water Swimming. Over the last five years they have been doing regular litter picks of the City Quay Dock which is fed by the River Tay and have removed all different types of waste from the water.

Giraffe is a small charity and social enterprise based in Perth which provides supported work experience and personal development opportunities for local young people with barriers. Giraffe have organised several litter picks in the past – these have included litter picks on the Lade path in Perth, along the banks of the River Tay, and also on the river itself by canoe! They are currently involved in delivering the John Muir Award, and also have a photography club and cycling project. Broughty Ferry in Bloom was established over fourteen years ago and has several gardening projects in prominent areas of Broughty Ferry as well as being active in cleaning up litter from Broughty Ferry Beach. The group has worked with local nursery schools, Brownies and the Rotary Club in litter picking and shares news from their activities through a newsletter and their Facebook site.

Established in 1998, Beyond Adventure is a leader in paddlesports instruction, expeditions and guiding. They are passionate about working in the outdoors and protecting the environment that they work in. They have organised many litter picks and found all sorts of waste – beer cans, crisp packets, plastic bags and traffic cones.
