We have a range of interactive courses for pupils to participate in this summer to help learn more about the environment.

Cloud Spotting with Cannell

Join our resident cloud enthusiast Josh Cannell, learn to identify the different clouds we see in our skies and what they might mean for the climate. This course uses Microsoft Teams for interactive content.

Suitable for: Primary and Secondary

Ideas and resources to help you make the improvements at home that are important to you.

Become an Eco Ambassador with our summer challenge! Four weeks of Eco challenges to do at home.  Different activities each week arriving by email, with a certificate at the end.

Suitable for: young people aged 5+ and their families.

Join us for 4 weeks of fun activities that will help you learn all about the heritage on your doorstep and achieve a Heritage Hero Award.

Introduction to Climate Change

This course covers the basics of climate change and serves as a great introduction to our Climate Ready Classroom course. This course uses Microsoft Teams for interactive content.

Suitable for: students aged 9-14.

Four weeks of One Planet Picnic challenges that are good for you and good for the planet. Different activities each week, arriving by email, to get your teeth into.

A course for Primary pupils exploring the non-human neighbours we share our world with. Gain an understanding and respect of other life forms and how important their roles in life cycles and food chains are for the world

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the area around where you live? This programme will give you the tools to be able to think inquisitively about things you may see everyday or things you find which you have never noticed before.

Pokémon Go at Home

What if Pokémon were real? Where would they live? What would they eat? Let us imagine they are and see what we can do to learn about and help the ones around your area.

Young Reporters Summer Challenge

Complete four photography challenges on environmental topics delivered via a weekly digital newsletter long with tips and tricks to get the best out of your camera. Feature your photos on the Keep Scotland Beautiful Instagram page. The best photos from each week will be featured on our Twitter and Facebook banners each week as well as our website homepage.

Live Lessons with Doug Allan

Doug Allan is a natural history cameraman and presenter on programmes including Blue Planet.  He is also one of our Upstream Battle Campaign Ambassadors.

Doug hosted a series of live lessons on our YouTube channel to share his experiences and answer questions from pupils.
