Wrigley Litter Less
The purpose of the Litter Less campaign is to reduce litter and encourage long term behaviour change amongst young people around the world. Litter Less is a Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) campaign, which we operate in Scotland. We have been running the programme with Scottish Eco-Schools for the last five years. The campaign is funded by the Wrigley Company Foundation, and you can read more about Wrigley below.
Over the past five years, we have worked with 129 schools across Scotland through Wrigley Litter Less. You can find out more about how they worked in partnership with their communities to improve local environmental quality in the places they care about on our Litter Less Case Studies page. You can also read more about schools who took part in previous years in Wrigley Litter Less - Learning for Sustainability Stories from Schools.
Registration is now open for the 2017/18 Litter Less campaign (and closes on Friday 13 October 2017).
This year we are asking Early Years Establishments and ASN schools to apply for a grant of £200 to help support litter and waste reduction initiatives in your school. Applying is easy - we just need some contact information about your school and a outline telling us how what work your school would like to do, using the £200 grant, to make a difference to litter and waste in your school and wider community.
