Wrigley Litter Less
The purpose of the Litter Less campaign is to reduce litter and encourage long term behaviour change amongst young people around the world. Litter Less is a Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) campaign, which we operate in Scotland. We have been running the programme with Scottish Eco-Schools for the last six years. The campaign is funded by the Wrigley Company Foundation, and you can read more about Wrigley below.
Over the past six years, we have worked with 156 schools across Scotland through Wrigley Litter Less. You can find out more about how they worked in partnership with their communities to improve local environmental quality in the places they care about on our Litter Less Case Studies page. You can also read more about schools who took part in previous years in Wrigley Litter Less - Learning for Sustainability Stories from Schools.
Registration for the 2018/19 Litter Less Campaign has now CLOSED.
We received record numbers of applications and look forward to sharing news of funded campaigns with you in the near future.
Litter Less Campaign Launch 2018
Last year Litter Less was launched at Isobel Mair School. We spent the day with pupils and staff outside on a Clean Up, and then weighed the bags of litter collected. Pupils also had fun dressing up in our Roadside Litter mascot costumes and shared their plans for a plastic free school with us.
Have a look at the Case Study pages for stories from previously funded schools.
