Sunnyside Primary School

  • While learning about energy, Pupils at Sunnyside Primary School investigated what would happen if there was a power cut. An interesting discussion involving followed, and pupils thought about how they rely on energy for every aspect of the school day.

  • The Energy Drop group at Sunnyside Primary School investigated ways the school could save energy. They began by looking at how much energy was used in school and graphing their results so they could keep track of the effects of their efforts to reduce energy usage.

  • Pupils at Sunnyside Primary School looked at both Energy and Water and how their school could use less of both resources. They did some mind mapping exercises to explore their knowledge of the topic before starting.

  • Pupils at Sunnyside Primary School formed a group called the Energy Drops to investigate how their school could save energy.
