Data collection and carbon calculations

Climate Challenge Fund projects vary hugely in scope, approach and activities, but they all have one thing in common - they must deliver a measurable reduction in carbon emissions in their community.

We provide training and support to help you to measure and report on the carbon emissions reductions of your Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) project.

Training opportunities

Our workshop 'Data Collection and Carbon Calculations' will give you the opportunity to think in depth about how you collect the information you need in order to calculate the carbon emissions reductions achieved by your project.

During the day we will:

  • Explore how your project reduces carbon emissions and discuss how you will know this is happening.
  • Discuss the barriers and opportunities to collecting primary data, and develop a plan to collect data for your project.
  • Explore the methodology you need to use to calculate carbon emissions reductions.

The workshops will take place in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen in May. You can find out more and book online via our events page.
