We encourage all CCF Gathering attendees to choose sustainable travel for their journey to and from the venue.
The Event will take place at Dynamic Earth,Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AS.
Webcast - We will be webcasting all the sessions in the Auditorium, plus two of the workshops with the facility to ask questions to allow remote access to the event. Access the webcast player page will be published in due course.
Cycling and Walking - Located at the bottom of Holyrood Road, neighbouring the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyrood House, Dynamic Earth is an approximate 15 minute walk from the city centre (Princes Street). Local Bus Routes - Within Edinburgh, take the local Lothian Buses No. 35 & 6 or hop aboard any Edinburgh City sightseeing bus tour. Find out more at www.lothianbuses.com
EV car charging points - Dynamic Earth has its own electric car charge point for public use. Electricity is free. Standard car park charges apply. For other charge points locally please check Zap Map.

Our menu for the day will focus on vegetarian, sustainable, lower carbon food.
Where possible we will:
Choose local - The menu will focus on locally sourced, in season Scottish produce.
Outline origin - The menu will include a food map to show the origin of the food served on the menu.
We will keep printed literature to a mimimum, with any print using sustainable production methods.
Programmes - No print programme will be available on the day of the event. All information will be hosted on the conference website.
Handouts - Any paper handouts will be printed on paper created from 100% post-consumer waste using a low carbon production method. Keep Scotland Beautiful's offices use an electricity supplier that produces 100% renewable energy.
We will work to reduce, reuse and recycle waste from the event
No disposables - No disposable crockery or cutlery will be used at the Gathering.
Reuse of handouts - We will separate out all discarded handouts to be reused and ask you to return your name badges.
Recyling - Recycling points will be made available throughout the venue.
Food waste - We will work with the venue and delegates to minimise food waste. We will work with the venue to provide takeaway cartons.
