Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) guidance and resources for energy efficient building refurbishment projects.
Stage Two applicants should be able to define the outcomes of their project, the activities that will achieve these outcomes and how to monitor the progress that their project is making.
The Stage Two Guidance contains detailed information on all the above in section 2.4, however projects involving Community-Owned Buildings should find pages one and two of the worked example here useful.
Estimating carbon emissions
To help applicants estimate the carbon emissions (CO2e) savings of their CCF project we have produced the Carbon Estimator. It has sections to help applicants estimate CO2e savings for a number of activities for each project theme, so that they can establish what initiatives will be likely make the largest savings.
Partners and third-party resources
Your Development Officer will outline key organisations you should work with to plan and deliver your project. They will also outline third party resources that will prove helpful.
You can see a summary of partners and third-party support for CCF community-owned building projects here, but you should also consult other themes your project will cover such as energy efficiency advice.
If you are looking for inspiration, might also find it useful to consult case studies of previously funded CCF community-owned building projects.
