Wellington Allotment Gardens Association

They are a 112-year-old group in the heart of Greenock, being the last allotment on council land. The group are self-run and self-supporting, including 35 plots of varying sizes plus 9 raised beds, a wildlife area and pond along with communal composting and water harvesting. These are among the eco credentials they aspire to. They also have a communal polytunnel for members with no greenhouse and a members portacabin with loo and, most importantly, a kettle!
