Warriston Allotments

Warriston Allotments is a busy, productive site in the north of Edinburgh. Occupying a large, south-facing hill, it supports over 150 allotments and around 180 plot holders, most of whom live close by. Bounded by walking and cycle paths used by many hundreds of people through the week, the site also offers the public a close-up view of seasonal growing. Warriston has an informal committee which organises 3 annual events (May Sale, Harvest Event, AGM), that raise funds, gather plot holders to share gardener's tips, offer specialist talks, and celebrate our close connection with the environment.
