The RIDGE

The Ridge is an organisation that offers training and support to their local community through their two gardens. 

They have a backlands garden which is a climate ready garden, a rainbow garden with plants they use for natural dying, an orchard, a wildlife corridor and this year’s plan is to establish a kitchen garden to be used for learning to grow and cook organic nutritional food.

Another garden includes an apothecary garden for their clients to spend time in a restorative peaceful place and a productive cut flower garden which is harvested and sold as locally grown sustainable flowers.
