Summerhill Land Art

A Community Land Art Project in Summerhill Housing Estate, North West Dumfries. All ages from the different local groups such as Youth Project, Amazing Futures Project, Older People Groups and Environmental Groups work in partnership with local Housing Association and Dumfries and Galloway Council Criminal Justice Department to development and maintain community green space. The Youth Project raise awareness of rainforest issues and traditional local rural skills such as stone carving and wood carving. Adult groups learn more about the environment and its positive impact on health and wellbeing.
