St John's Primary School and Community Garden

The pupils of primaries 5-7 enrol in the John Muir Award and seek to recreate from a dilapidated area of ground a sensory garden and green space for the enjoyment of the school pupils and the local community. They have gratefully received funding and support in kind from many local organisations and groups and hope to complete the restoration in the coming months. The garden will then be used for outdoor learning and the enjoyment of the greenspace by local people and organisations.

The P5 - P7 Pupils have all enrolled in the John Muir Award as part of the re-development of the garden, and play an enthusiastic part in the hard graft to achieve their goal.

They have applied for various funding to help them achieve their aims and objectives, and are confident of their eventual success.
