Slopefield Allotment Association

Slopefield has operated as an Aberdeen City allotment site since 1980. An Allotment Association was set up in 2010, to manage over 100 plots on site on a day to day basis in partnership with the City Council.

The group’s aims:

• To encourage the use of green and sustainable gardening methods
• To build partnerships with the local community, including Airyhall Primary School, The James Hutton Institute and local business
• To maximise benefit to their members
• To enhance local biodiversity
• To substantially increase the well-being of ALL involved.
