Nether Loirston Growers Association are an independent Allotment Association with 31 plots averaging 45 square metres each. They have a Management Committee made up of Allotmenteers. Allotmenteers come from the local community, so the group helps reduce the carbon footprint. They work together to maintain the standard of their site and help and support one another. Allotmenteers are of all ages and experience. The group have made raised beds to help those who need them.
They will have a table at the local Gala on 1st June this year and liaise with the City Council and local businesses who sponsor them from time to time.
The site has a polytunnel, container for tools and a cold frame. The group are currently looking for grant aid to replace one of their site gates.
