Kittybrewster Congregational Church - 40th BB

During the pandemic, The Boys' Brigade attached to the Church, took over a piece of abandoned ground on Powis Terrace, Aberdeen. It is on a main road into Aberdeen. The young people, staff, some Church members and later, members of the public, litter picked - initially over 100 bags of rubbish were removed - an ongoing job. The young people initiated the cutting down of 3-4 feet high weeds to leave a grass area and planted flower areas. There are now a variety of flower displays including a large flower box donated by Aberdeen City Council.
