Kirkton Community Garden

The Kirkton Community Garden is a new garden which will be attractive and safe for general use. The aims of the project are:

• To provide a green space area for local residents to come and enjoy all aspects of gardening
• To give residents, who may feel isolated or lonely, an area for social interaction
• To provide horticultural therapy
• To develop the biodiversity of the garden and local area
• To provide local schools an opportunity to learn about growing and ecology
• To accommodate local organisations who may need space for one off events.
