Greener Peebles

The group run a thriving intergenerational community garden in Peebles, Scottish Borders.

Volunteers of all ages come along to their sessions to learn how to grow food, develop skills, make friends and build confidence. All of the garden sessions end with a free harvest to take home, so everyone has access to fresh produce.

They garden with the environment in mind, for example by making their own compost and providing habitats for wildlife.

The group host several community meals throughout the year, and run monthly 'Skill Share' sessions. These are informal sessions, often involving a practical demonstration for people to learn a variety of skills, from gardening activities, arts and crafts, mindfulness, and much more!
