Friends of Douglas Park

Douglas Park is a small pocket park which has been a community open space and garden for over 100 years. The main purpose of Friends of Douglas Park is to restore the area to a functional park, allowing increased community use and enjoyment, and therefore, providing the associated health and wellbeing benefits that access to quality outdoor space brings.

The group carry out park improvements and maintenance through a network of volunteers, liaise with local schools and organise community events.
