Earlston in Bloom was created in 2019, after a community consultation said residents wanted to see bright, colourful flowers and public spaces enhanced.
After a slow start thanks to Covid, all the volunteers work together on digging, weeding, planting, pruning, watering etc., to tend and maintain beds, borders, planters and baskets including The Green which lies at the centre of Earlston.
Their work has expanded each year, seeing them work with their schools and nurseries, as well as local groups and businesses.
The Bloom group appreciate and couldn't do without all their fantastic local support, whether from sponsorship, donations, in kind, or, most recently, as a result of from Community Benefits from two building projects.
2024 sees Earlston in Bloom take the leap of faith from Its Your Neighbourhood!
