Crombie Residents Association

Crombie is a small community in Fife, near Dunfermline. Originally married quarters for Royal Navy personnel at the nearby base, and now a commuter village with a residents association which organises events and projects, such as presenting the village as an entrant for It’s Your Neighbourhood. It has a successful track record in this field, gaining a distinction in 2022 for four successive years of improvement.

The Gardening Group of the Association leads the way but the villagers, as a whole, provide welcome support. The group benefits enormously by having a Community Garden, funded by several sponsors. This provides a range of fruit, veg and flowers for the village and is a focal point for meetings, social events and training opportunities, especially for the children.
