Catrine Community Action Plan Group

CCAPG work with the community of Catrine to empower and involve them in the mission to ‘Make Catrine Sparkle’ all year round. They are in the process of obtaining community ground from the local authority to create a community garden where they hope to educate and raise awareness about growing your own food organically, using companion planting and re-instating green areas of natural habitat and beauty around the village. Catrine has the only Local Nature Reserve in East Ayrshire. CCAPG have a garden club and support the local schools with environmental projects e.g. Forest Schools, John Muir Award.
