Ardler Environment Group

The group has been in existence in the Gardens, since 2005, and around the local environs from 2002. The first plants were put in in September ‘05. The group consists of a core of 5, which includes a lady just joined who has connections with the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, and of course who’s advice is most beneficial to the group’s layout of each garden! One of the others is a lady in a wheelchair, who brings some teenage children with her, and yet another who has been with us for 10 years and has a part of the garden he tends himself. During the year, school children from two Primary Schools help out with repotting, and planting Street Tubs with a display. The group is looking forward to their finished Gardens.
