Airyhall School

They are committed to being an eco-friendly school, and this is embedded in their curriculum. Alongside the ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ award, they also take part in the Eco Schools initiative and have earned ten Green flags.

The Eco Group consists of pupils from each class who meet regularly to discuss ideas for the school. In 2023 - 2025 they are working on biodiversity, school grounds and climate actions.

They have been given the award of ‘Outstanding’ for It's Your Neighbourhood for a number of years and will continue to work on their school grounds, community garden and Slopefield Allotments.
