  • Amberol

    Amberol is a manufacturer of a range of robust self-watering hanging baskets and planters. These are designed to enhance urban space with floral colour using minimal maintenance. All the products contain a large integral water reservoir, our unique wicking and matting system "aquafeed" and need to be watered no more than twice a week. Amberol also manufacture a range of litter and recycling bins and a range of recycled plastic furniture.

  • BTO Scotland

    The BTO is an independent charity which combines professional and citizen science to provide evidence of changes in wildlife populations, particularly birds. Activities in Scotland are coordinated from our offices in Stirling. The valuable data that BTO volunteers collect helps to inform both the public and decision-makers, guiding conservation and land management decision-making and action. BTO membership is open to all and a broad range of surveys offer something to everyone - enthusiastic walkers, casual garden birdwatchers and long-term birders alike.

    The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established because of serious concerns about the 'plight of the bumblebee'. In the last 80 years our bumblebee populations have crashed.     Eco-Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage whole-school action on sustainable development education issues. It is an environmental management tool, a learning resource and a recognised award scheme. It empowers young people to take action towards an economically, socially and environmentally just world. Over 98% of Scotland's local authority schools now participate in the initiative, as well as many more independent and early years establishments. Over 46% of participants have attained the internationally-recognised symbol of excellence in sustainable development education, the Green Flag Award.
