Young Reporters for the Environment Awarded the Earth Prize

The Foundation for Environmental Education has announced that the Young Reporters for the Environment programme is among the winners of Earth Prize 2018.

The Earth Prize recognises those who have contributed to environmental education along all ages of life through literary and popular works, films and television broadcasts, landscape projects, communication campaigns, studies and research.  The prize is promoted by the Permanent Secretariat of the World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC) Network and the City of Luino, Italy.

The Earth Prize ceremony will take place in Luino, Italy on 23-24 June. 

Young Reporters for the Environment is a programme of youth-led environmental journalism offered in 34 countries around the world.  In Scotland, the programme is called Young Reporters Scotland and is open to young people between the ages of 8 and 26 years.
