FEE Shares Global Action Days

The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) shared examples of projects that raise awareness of environmental issues through both its Eco-Schools and Learning About Forests (LEAF) programmes.

The purpose of this day was to call attention to how FEE and member organisations across the world are helping to realise the benefits of the Sustainable Development Goals through FEE programmes.

FEE delivers five environmental education programmes: Blue Flag, Young Reporters, Learning About Forests, Green Key and of course Eco-Schools.  Eco-Schools was initiated by FEE in 1993, and is now offered by FEE member organisations like Keep Scotland Beautiful in 67 countries.

Throughout the week of 16-22nd April, FEE member organisations shared some inspiring examples of Eco-Schools projects both on the FEE website and in the Global Action Days Facebook group. You can also have a look at the hashtag #GlobalActionDays on Twitter.
