Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge

Sustrans has launched the Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge, calling for individuals to sign up to the Scottish workplace #journeychallenge

Supported by Transport Scotland, the Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge is an online platform where individuals register their walking, cycling, public transport and car-sharing journeys for commuting and business travel. Participants can compete individually, or as a workplace team. It is free to take part in the Challenge, and there are over £2,000 worth of prizes available for participants.

Project Co-ordinator, Jenny Muir said “We had an amazing response to the Challenge last year, so we are hoping to get even more businesses and individuals involved in 2017”. The Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge kicks off for its second year this March and registrations are now open.

The Challenge runs from 1-31 March and workplaces across Scotland compete to clock up the most walking, cycling, public transport, car-sharing and telework journeys. You simply register your team and staff log their journeys online or through the Challenge app, helping your organisation to climb the leader board.
