Welcome to Climate Challenge Fund Grant Recipients
We are delighted to welcome the 110 community-led organisations awarded Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) grants for 2018-2020. Projects include energy efficiency improvements to community owned buildings, home energy efficiency advice, lower carbon travel options, community growing initiatives and schemes to tackle waste.
The CCF team at Keep Scotland Beautiful look forward to supporting all Grant Recipients as they deliver their projects. Over the past weeks all CCF Grant Recipients have been contacted by their CCF Development Officer at Keep Scotland Beautiful. If you are a Grant Recipient and don't know who your Development Officer is, please call us on 01786 468779 and we'll be pleased to help.
All Grant Recipients have been emailed a CCF Welcome Pack that contains important information and an outline of the support available from Keep Scotland Beautiful. Please read the Welcome Pack and share it with all staff involved with your CCF project. If you have not received your Welcome Pack or have any queries, please contact us on 01786 468779.
Grant Recipients will find that the CCF website contains a wealth of information, with the Run your Project section particularly useful. The CCF Project Toolkit sits in this area of the website and provides tools, video guides, branding information and resources to help you run your project.
In the coming weeks all CCF Grant Recipients will receive further information to support the delivery of their projects. Please watch out for information including:
- A Startup Report template and a claims tracker spreadsheet
- An introductory email to the Capacity Building Building Programme
- An email introducing support to help meet branding and promotional requirements and promote project activity effectively
Finally, all Grant Recipients are reminded to return their completed Grant Acceptance Letter as soon as possible and before starting any project activities or incurring costs. Page four of the CCF Welcome pack contains further information.
The £15.3 million 2018-20 CCF is made up of £14.3 million from the Scottish Government and £1 million from the European Regional Development Fund – part of the European Structural Funds programme.
