Upcycled Christmas craft ideas

Climate Challenge Fund project 'Growing Together' run by the Concrete Garden produce Re-craft Christmas toolkit

The Re-craft Christmas toolkit comes complete with step-by-step instructions and templates for six craft sessions that make use of everyday items that otherwise might be thrown away after use.

The toolkit includes ideas such as a 'Scrap Wrap Wreath', 'Crisp Tube Snowman' and a 'Jar Snow Globe', offering the chance to share some simple and fun upcycled craft ideas with all the family this festive season.

Growing Together is an urban community food growing and waste reduction project funded through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund. The project is run by the Concrete Garden which is working to tackle carbon emissions through the provision of growing space, activities and events for the people of Possilpark and the wider North Glasgow area. The project works alongside local people to create a healthier, happier Possilpark by creating opportunities to grow, work, socialise play and learn together.

You can find out more about Climate Challenge Fund projects that have tackled waste on the Climate Challenge Fund website.
