SHRUB seek help to steer leftover student stuff to where it's needed

The sorting and re-distribution of items discarded in student halls is part of the Climate Challenge Fund activities of the SHRUB Co-op in Edinburgh.

Every year, SHRUB Co-op and the University of Edinburgh Accommodation Services, together with friends, team up to sort tonnes of stuff students leave at their accommodations. For two weeks, they dig through stuff, organising it so it goes where it should - much of it directly to the hands of new students at the start of the next term, with the rest of the items given to charities that can use them. Last year the initiative diverted 17 tonnes of stuff!

Do you want to steer leftover student stuff to where it's needed? Want free stuff? Want a fun, unusual day out with friends?
