Public encouraged to take part in The Big Climate Conversation

The Scottish Government invites members of the public to The Big Climate Conversation public workshops across Scotland.

The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed The Big Climate Conversation that will run nationwide to discuss action to tackle the global climate emergency, will take place in Scotland this summer.

It will involve engaging with the public to discuss Scotland’s collective response to the global climate emergency.

As part of a wider conversation series, the Scottish Government will be hosting a number of free public engagement events across Scotland where people can come to discuss their thoughts on climate change and what steps we need to take, together, to reach our net-zero targets. 

Events have been held in Glasgow, Stirling, Aberdeen, Portree, Fort William and Orkney.

The remaining events are

  • Edinburgh - 26 August **Event is now full**

  • Inverness - 11 September **Event is now full**

We encourage the Climate Challenge Fund Community to share news of the events in their local areas.  The events are all FREE to attend.
