Paid focus group opportunities

Keep Scotland Beautiful is running four focus group conversations to hear from people who wouldn’t normally think or talk much about climate change.

Don't normally think or talk much about climate change? Or are you unsure what climate change is or what causes it? Don't know why climate change is relevant to Scotland? Or why it's such a big issue?

If any of the above statements apply to you and you live in or around Dundee, Galashiels, Inverurie or Oban then we want to hear your views. We're running four focus groups on behalf of the Scottish Government in September and October in Dundee, Galashiels, Inverurie and Oban.

Climate change is currently a widely discussed issue in news and government, so it is important everyone is part of the conversation.

Each focus group will last for two hours and feature a selection of activities and conversation starters aimed at enabling participants to express a view about what needs to be done to tackle climate change.

All those who participate at the focus group will receive £25 at the end of the event.

On registration for a focus group you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. We will use the questionnaire answers to ensure we have a diverse range of participants. A week before the focus group, we will contact 30-35 of the people who have registered to confirm their place at the event.

Locations:

Gate Church, Dundee, 17 September -Register your interest in attending here

Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels, 26 September - Register your interest in attending here

Acorn Centre, West Parish Church, Inverurie , 1 October - Register your interest in attending here

Corran Halls, Oban, 8 October - Register your interest in attending here

All events will take place from 5.30pm - 7.30pm.

The focus groups form part of the Scottish Government's Big Climate Conversation to listen to what the public thinks about what needs to be done to combat climate change.
