Mentoring Organisations and Peer Resources

New initiatives to share expertise of the Climate Challenge Fund Community.

The Framework of Mentoring Organisations and Peer to Peer Resources Library are new initiatives aim that aim to share the expertise of the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) Community.

Framework of Mentoring Organisations

This is a new initiative from the CCF which will support sharing of expertise and experience between community-led organisations. We hope that effective sharing will act as a catalyst for action on climate change in new communities and audiences.

Apply to become a mentor – We invite more experienced community organisations with a significant track-record of results in terms of community action on climate change through the CCF to offer advice, consultancy services and mentoring through the framework.

Access support from a mentor - Less experienced community organisations can access the knowledge and experience of mentors to help them effectively take action on climate change in their community.

Peer to Peer Resource Library

Community-led organisations have been running CCF projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions locally since 2008. We hope to that share the wealth of resources and experience developed through the Peer to Peer Resource Library and Forum.

The Peer to Peer Resource Library - We’ve created the Library to host resources produced by previous CCF projects. This includes guides, activities, workshop outlines and project tools. Why not upload and share resources you’ve produced that have been particularly effective? Or check the resource library to see if someone has posted up resources that might save you reinventing the wheel.

The Forum - To help share experience, you’ll also find a series of forums, organised by theme, where you can post questions and start conversations.
We’re hosting the Peer to Peer Resource Library on Knowledge Hub, an online platform for the public and third sectors and have produced a guide to help you get started.
