Home Energy Scotland partner open day
Open day aimed at organisations and community groups that are new to HES services and who work with people vulnerable to fuel poverty
The Community Liaison and Partnership Team at Home Energy Scotland (HES) is running an open day on 21 June in Edinburgh aimed at organisations and community groups that are new to their services and who work with people vulnerable to fuel poverty.
Through a combination of presentations, practical demonstrations and discussion groups, the open day will give organisations an overview of the services and support available from HES to tackle fuel poverty. Refreshments and lunch will also be provided.
On the day you can find out more about:
- HES energy saving resources - hands-on demonstations
- The support available from Home Energy Scotland to help your clients
- Information on the Scottish Government funding available to householders in Scotland
- The benefits of working in partnership with HES
Who should attend?
The open day is aimed at staff from organisations that are new to HES services and who would like to find out more about how to access the support. It will be particularly relevant to those working with vulnerable households who struggle to heat their homes (groups such as older people, disabled, families with children under 16, single occupancy households, pregnant women and households in rural areas).
