Go Green Low Carbon Travel Project

Edinburgh College Students' Association run the Go Green Low Carbon Travel Project to help students to travel to college more sustainably.

The project is supported by a grant through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund. The CCF provides grants and support for community-led organisations to tackle climate change by running projects that reduce local carbon emissions.

We were pleased to speak to Project Co-ordinator, Alex Luetchford at the CCF Transport Gathering that took place at Soulriders Scotland last year and learn more about the project.

Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful manages the CCF on behalf of the Scottish Government and we have staff that support applicants, Grant Recipients and other community-led organisations wanting to take action on climate change.

You can view more case studies on CCF projects involving sustainable travel here.
