Get involved with Climate Week

We encourage Climate Challenge Fund Grant Recipients and other organisations across Scotland to get involved with Scotland's Climate Week.

Our planet is facing an emergency. The truth is, we can’t go on like this. To stop climate change, we need to change. And change now.

Together, we can help people in Scotland do more to tackle the climate emergency and save our world.

Around the world, extreme weather events and erratic temperatures are becoming more and more frequent. In Scotland, we are beginning to see impacts. Over the past couple of years, we’ve had a prolonged summer heatwave, as well as extremely high winter temperatures. The climate emergency is already on our doorstep.

Scotland’s Climate Week is 7-13 October. It provides organisations with the opportunity to celebrate and showcase what they’re doing already to tackle the climate emergency and to step up and start doing more to save our world.

We encourage Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) Grant Recipients and other organisations across Scotland to get involved with Climate Week. Remember to tag @ScotGovClimate #ScotClimateWeek in all your Climate Week activity on Twitter. If you are running CCF activities, please also tag @CCFScot.

Use the Climate Week Toolkit to help showcase what you are doing to tackle the climate emergency and to plan further action.
