Community Bike Intern Opportunities

Lochaber Environmental Group offer three interns chance to gain practical experience.

Lochaber Environmental Group are working with local bike shops, Nevis Cycles and Off Beat Bikes, to offer three interns a four day training course which includes experience working next to their mechanics

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in cycling and bike maintenance, either as a hobby or as a potential career. Interns will gain practical experience repairing bikes and organising community events with full support from the project partners. Applications are open until midnight on 13 May and are to anyone 18 years or older.

The three community bike intern places are provided through Lochaber Environmental Group’s new project Go, Grow and Glow, which is funded by the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund. The intern programme is new for this year, so interns will get a chance to input and shape how the internship develops.
