Climate Week 2017: 18-22 September

Climate Week 2017 is a national initiative designed to raise awareness and inspire action on climate change.

This year Climate Week is taking place from 18 September and community-led organisations from across Scotland are invited to take part.

The week of activities and events aims to highlight the importance of reducing carbon emissions and adapting to a changing climate through inspiring activities and events. Community-led organisations, including those running Climate Challenge Fund projects will find Climate Week an ideal opportunity to engage with their local community.

In 2016 activities taking place throughout the week included tours of sustainable buildings or infrastructure, electric vehicle demonstrations, presentations from inspirational speakers, film viewings, and presentations highlighting recent climate change projects, plans or policies.

Stay posted for more information on how to register to take part in Climate Week 2017.
