Climate Challenge Fund Gathering - book now

The 2018 CCF Gathering will celebrate a decade of the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund and recognise youth contributions in this Year of Young People. The event will also provide opportunities to network with the CCF Community.

We thank Elizabeth Leighton, for being our conference chair for a fourth year and are delighted that the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment, Mairi Gougeon MSP will provide a keynote address.

The morning plenary sessions will help to celebrate a decade of CCF achievements and identify challenges and hopes for the future. The focus of the  afternoon plenary session is the return of the popular Climate Snapshots, which will highlight the contribution of young people and youth engagement in CCF projects.

Workshops will provide opportunities to learn more about carbon emissions and how to monitor and report on them. If you are a Grant Recipient that has not managed to come to one of the Data Collection for Carbon Monitoring workshops, then the Carbon Monitoring and Reporting workshop is for you! Further learning opportunities are structured around youth engagement on climate action and networking with the CCF Community.

The Gathering provides an ideal space for networking and sharing of ideas between communities across Scotland. We are pleased to have a variety of exhibitors from the CCF Community to network and share with.

We will be webcasting all plenary sessions in the Auditorium and providing a webinar of the Carbon Monitoring and Reporting workshop.
