Climate Challenge Fund Expression of Interest update
About your Expression of Interest (EOI)
If you submitted an EOI before the deadline of 5pm on 3 August 2018, a CCF Development Officer will get back to you as soon as possible. If you submitted an eligible EOI, you will be emailed a CCF Application Form and Guidance Notes, plus a Carbon Estimator Tool to help you estimate the carbon reduction potential of your activities. Be sure to check the Plan your Project area of the CCF website for further guidance, information and contacts to help you plan and develop a strong CCF funding application.
Please note that our offices are closed on 6 August for the Bank Holiday.
We are still inviting applications for CCF Development Grants of up to £1,000 with the final deadline being 17 August 2018. These grants are designed to help develop an application for a climate action project.
Other support to take climate action
Whether you are applying for CCF funding or not, you can take advantage of a variety of support to help your organisation take local action on climate change:
- CCF Capacity Building Programme - free training and networking opportunities
- We have a variety of opportunities to help you learn more about climate change, engage in discussions with your community and take local action through the Climate Change Engagement section on the CCF website. This includes Climate Conversations with the Scottish Government offering support for communities to hold a discussion about climate change and share the outcomes.
- Funding Scotland - find funding for your charity, community group or social enterprise using the free online search engine.
- Third party support and resources - there are a variety of organisations that can offer you help (and sometimes funding), plus a variety of useful free resources.
