CCF Awards nominations close at 3pm on Monday 29 October

The Climate Challenge Fund Awards will celebrate the dedication and achievements of projects previously funded through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund.

2018 is an exciting year for community action on climate change in Scotland as we celebrate both the Year of Young People and a decade of the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund (CCF). We are delighted to have two new CCF Awards Categories for Youth Engagement and Outstanding Contribution which join the established Energy, Food, Transport and Waste categories.

CCF projects that ran 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 are eligible for categories:

  • Energy - projects involving energy efficient refurbishment of community-owned buildings and energy efficiency advice
  • Travel - projects involving lower carbon travel
  • Food - projects involving the production and consumption of lower carbon food
  • Waste - projects involving reducing, reusing and recycling waste
  • Youth Engagement - projects led-by or involving young people 26 and under

CCF projects that ran at any point until 31 March 2018 are eligible for the category:

  • Outstanding Contribution - projects that have made an outstanding contribution to community action on climate change over the last

Lists of projects eligible for the Awards and information on how to submit a nomination is available through the CCF Awards webpages.

We are pleased to accept nominations from eligible CCF projects or third-party organisations until 3pm on 29 October.
