Cathedral Church of St Paul's, Dundee to unveil new lights
The Cathedral Church of St Paul's, Dundee will launch and unveil their new energy efficient LED lighting at an event on 27 February. The lighting has been made possible through a grant of £150,000 from the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund (CCF), which includes maximum funding of £58,240 from the European Regional Development Fund.
In addition to the lighting, the CCF grant is helping the Cathedral community, including the nursery and Junior Church, to raise awareness of climate change and ways to take action, with a focus on how to reduce energy use in the home.
The launch event will feature a demonstration of the lighting as it is brought on to accompaniment by Cathedral and City Organist, Stuart Muir. Attendees at the event will be able to meet designer, Anders Blair, and hear more about how they can reduce their own carbon emissions.
The launch event will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral, 1 High Street, Dundee on Wednesday 27th February at 7pm.
If you would like to attend the event please RSVP to Carole Spink firstname.lastname@example.org by 25 February.
