Beaton Public Hall doors open event
Beaton Public Hall are holding a doors open event on Saturday 19th January from 11am – 3pm. The purpose of the event is to invite the community to celebrate the energy efficient upgrade at Beaton Hall Methlick, Aberdeenshire and to showcase the improvements.
The event will offer opportunities to:
- Tour the facility
- Meet the Project Team and partners
- Test drive an E-Car
- Test ride an E-Bike
The event is being hosted as part of the Beaton Hall: Community Climate Action project which is supported by a £124,612 grant from the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund (CCF). The grant awarded includes maximum funding of £41,325 from the European Regional Development Fund.*
The Community Climate Action project aims to improve the energy efficiency of Beaton Public Hall through installation of new windows and support households to reduce energy consumption and travel more sustainably. The project also aims to help Methlick School to save energy and raise awareness of climate change throughout the community.
