A step forward for sustainability in Coupar Angus

Sustainability in Coupar Angus took a step forward as a Re-Use Shop was opened by John Swinney MSP on 8 April.

Forward Coupar Angus will run the shop as part of their Education and Training in Climate Literacy project which is supported by the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund. The Education and Training in Climate Literacy project is helping to improve knowledge of climate change and low carbon choices in Coupar Angus.

In addition to the shop helping to reduce carbon emissions by tackling waste, the project includes initiatives to increase the amount of food grown locally and a variety of support to encourage cycling.

Find out more about the project and how to become involved on the Forward Coupar Angus website and Facebook page.
